Fixed a bug that was causing Epichrome and its apps to silently fail to check for new versions on github.

Starting with version 2.2, Epichrome's underlying architecture has changed significantly to allow it to work with Chrome 69, which has added much stricter security.

Please read the notes in the README! There are some important changes in how Epichrome works.
