Fixed a bug in the removed 2.1.2 release that caused error alerts to not be properly displayed on startup. If you installed version 2.1.2, please update to 2.1.4 as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This release also has some under-the-hood improvements to prepare for a coming update to the Helper extension.
