DHIS messenger application for Android

Follow these instructions in order to run the application.

1. Run DHIS server

• for easy local setup you can download DHIS 2 Live

2. Run Openfire server

• follow the instructions in Openfire-DHISAuthentication repository

3. Run the application

• open this project in Android Studio
• build and run the application (either using Android Emulator or your Android smartphone)
• in the application enter your DHIS server address
  • in case you have DHIS server running locally enter your computer's external IP address
  • make sure your phone is connected to the Internet
• log in using DHIS credentials (username admin and password district by default)
