The Nigiri template allows you to create a personalized blog with ease. The configuration of the blog is managed through a YAML file named configuration.yaml
located in the main directory. This documentation provides details on the available configuration options and their usage.
site_title
: (string) Website title. Defaults to the user's name if not specified.site_description
: (string) Website meta description.
name
: (string) Your name.surname
: (string) Your surname or username.professional_identity
: (string) Your professional identity or position, which will be displayed under your name.profile_picture
: (string) Path to your profile picture. If you provide a profile picture, the avatar will be generated using the first letter of your name. If no name is provided, a "user" icon will be displayed at the center of the avatar.
You can add here as many paragraphs as you want. For example:
about_me_paragraph
: (string) Paragraph about your yourself.work_paragraph
: (string) Paragraph about your work.
Keys will be used as headings, for example about_me_paragraph
will become About Me
.
Provide your usernames for various social media platforms. Icons are pre-downloaded for all platform below.

You can add more platforms, simply:
- Put desired icon in
public/platforms
folder. - Add your platform and username to the
configuration.yaml
like so:

No need to worry if you don't have a specific icon; a generic one will be used in that case.

: (string) The email address you provide here will be shown as an icon right after your socials.
Add a "Buy Me a Coffee" button that will be displayed in the header.
buyMeACoffee_username
: (string) Your "Buy Me a Coffee" username. This will be displayed as an icon preceding the Theme Toggler.
To generate a sitemap for your website, follow these steps:
- Create an environment variable named SITE_URL with the value set to your website's URL.
- Run npm build.
- The sitemap.xml will be automatically generated as part of the build process.
