DMS Permissions
Here is a list of all DMSF permisions available in Redmine's Administration under Roles and Permissions. They are grouped under DMS.
It allows users to see each document download in the activity stream. There is a new option Document accesses which is on as default in the Activity tab's sidebar if enabled.
It allows users to see each document's revision in the activity stream. There is a new option Document revisions which is on as default in the Activity tab's sidebar if enabled.
Without this permission, the user won't see DMS tab and therefore won't be able to browse documents.
With this permission is the user allowed change their own settings of DMS in projects. There is an extra tab DMS in project's settings.
Without this permission, the user will see a list of documents in DMS tab but won't be able to view, download or send them by email. They won't see neither document's thumbnails not approval workflow log.
* Requires Browse documents permission.
It allows to send documents by email. The command icon Email is enabled for each DMS item if it's on.
* Requires View documents and Browse documents permission.
Without this permission, the user won't be allowed to do any active operations with folders such as create, edit, lock, unlock, delete, restore, notifications on/off, copy and move. DMS will be read only for such a user. Corresponding command icons are enabled if it's on.
* Requires Browse documents permission.
Without this permission, the user won't be allowed to do any active operations with documents such as upload, create new revision, lock, unlock, delete, restore, notifications on/off, copy and move. DMS will be read only for such a user. Corresponding command icons are enabled if it's on.
* Requires Browse documents permission.
It allows deleting of documents. The delete command icon is enabled for each document in DMS view.
* Requires Browse documents and File Manipulation permission. permission.
With this permission, is the user allowed to unlock a document even if it's locked be another user. The unlock command icon is enabled for each document in DMS view.
* Requires Browse documents and File Manipulation permission.
It enables users to use an approval workflow for documents. It means to assign and start an approval workflow and then to approve, delegate, reject or mark the document or obsolete. A corresponding command icon is enabled if it's on.
* Requires Browse documents and File Manipulation permission.
It enables users to manage project's approval workflows. So, the users are allowed to create and edit approval workflows for the given project. A new tab Approval workflow will appear in the project's settings if it's on.
System folders are invisible folders which contain documents attached to objects, e.g. issues. With this permissions are these folders and documents visible in the main DMS view.
