Rumpetroll is a HTML5 massive-multiplayer experiment started by Daniel Mahal, Hans Petter Eikemo, Hugo Ahlberg and Simen Brekken. Running live at http://rumpetroll.com Full source available at http://github.com/danielmahal/Rumpetroll Event Machine WebSocket Server implementation --------------------------------------------- 1. Before launching the server. Set the appropriate enviroment variables (Note:settings.yaml is not used anymore) MONGO_URL="rumpetroll" SOCKET_PORT=8180 ORIGIN_WHITE_LIST=http://rumpetroll.com http://localhost:3000 http://rumpetroll.motherfrog.com TWITTER_APP_KEY=KEY TWITTER_APP_SECRET=SECRET TWITTER_CALLBACK=http://rumpetroll.com/auth.html 2. Run a mongodb daemon on localhost:27017 3. Run server by executing em/daemon.rb Optional arguments: --dev Launch server and accept connections from any origin. --verbose Set EventMachine WebSockets to debug mode.
