Slack Channels

As our Slack group keeps growing in size, the Slack group becomes really hard to navigate. Here are some important channels and how they can be used.

Slack Channel Description
#general This is our main channel for general announcements. You can use it to introduce yourself and say hi. Please avoid using offensive language, self-promoting content, ads, job listings, etc.
#help You can ask your general questions on this channel and someone will help you.
#mentoring This channel is for those looking to mentor or looking for someone to mentor them
#meetings All our team meeting notes are shared here.
#contribute If you want to contribute to any project and have questions about it, use this channel
#meetups Our meetups are announced here
#research This channel is used to discuss ongoing and future research
#paper_reading We discuss all things related to our weekly paper reading and discussion sessions

Those are the essential ones. There are many more that are related to specific ongoing projects. Each project in our GitHub organization contains the name of the specific channel that we use to discuss that project.
