 In spring 2024, the publication of the two-volume transcript of the diaries of the Olympia excavations of 1875/1876 and 1876/1877, which are kept in the Central Archive of the *Staatliche Museen zu Berlin*, laid the foundation for a series of publications documenting the early excavations at Olympia, see [DOI Link 1](https://doi.org/10.34780/z4du-i1zf) and [DOI Link 2](https://doi.org/10.34780/ca76-d9ea).
