@ajmacdonald , this is for somewhat further down the line.
You created a concept CWRC Annotator (as opposed to the CWRC-Writer and the CWRC-reader) for the old CWRC-Writer a while back (which I assume was just defaulting to rdf-only editing mode).

Could you reinstate that mode, adapt it to the new CWRC-Writer and then integrate in the Islandora CWRC-Writer?

I can create a separate issue for the new CWRC-Writer adaptation work in CWRC-WriterBase if you'd like - just let me know.

We're also putting together a scoping document here - we're gathering some input from CWRC partners now.

@ilovan In the concept Annotator I created previously, the user could switch between Reader and Annotator modes. I'm assuming that we want to keep these modes separate and not allow the user to switch between them. Is that correct?

@ajmacdonald , We will want the shift between the three modes handled from within the Islandora interface, not the CWRC-Writer interface:

In the object-specific menu in Islandora, we have the "View" option, which triggers the CWRC reader, and the "Edit Content" option - which triggers the CWRC-Writer.

What we eventually want with the CWRC-Annotator is to have a separate Islandora button that would say "Annotate Content" and that woudl trigger the CWRC-Annotator.

The way you have it set up now, people can switch between Read only mode and Annotation mode from within the CWRC-Writer menu. Can you please remove that.

Also, the reason I said this issue is for further down the line is because we are just now working out an approval workflow for publicly contributed annotations and we agreed that we should not implement the CWRC-Annotator before that functionality is available.

@SusanBrown , please correct me if I am wrong.
