If you go to edit an entity that already has a URI and click the "tag without entity linking" button, the previous URI will be retained.
Do we want it to be removed? Should the button text be reworded if the user is editing an entity as opposed to adding?

Problem:

if the user is editing the entity, if all they want is to change and an attribute, their current behaviour forces them to find the entity they linked to again before moving to the step that's of interest to them. If we ad a "keep current link" option, the user would not have to repeat the linking, but will be taken to the next (attributes) pannel.
