How to install Showdown

Singleplayer Worlds (LAN)

  1. You can find the latest version of the pack on the releases page.
  2. Once you've found the version, you'd like to download, click on Source Code (zip).
  3. Extract the zip file to receive a folder named showdown. This is the datapack you will be installing.
  4. Open Minecraft and navigate to the world in which you'd like to install the datapack.
    • It is recommended to install Showdown onto a fresh world save.
    • If you choose to install it on a modified world, you do so at your own risk.
  5. Highlight the world, click on Edit, then click Open World Folder (usually the second option).
  6. Drag and drop the datapack named showdown into your world folder.
  7. Click Save to complete the installation!
  8. You're ready for setup! Head over to the setup page to get started.

Multiplayer Worlds (Servers)

  1. You can find the latest version of the pack on the releases page.
  2. Once you've found the version, you'd like to download, click on Source Code (zip).
  3. Extract the zip file to receive a folder named showdown. This is the datapack you will be installing.
  4. Open your server folder and open the folder entitled world.
    • It is recommended to install Showdown onto a fresh world save.
    • If you choose to install it on a modified world, you do so at your own risk.
  5. Open the datapacks folder.
  6. Drag and drop the datapack named showdown into your datapacks folder.
  7. If your server is currently running, make sure to restart it. Do not use /reload.
  8. You're ready for setup! Head over to the setup page to get started.
