Lateral control is tested on Byd Han DM (PHEV) and EV (electric), with Openpilot current dev branch. Longitude is controlled by the MPC as it is radar driven. Interpretation of Veoneer radar is in progress, by then the longitudinal control will be added.
For model of Han, can 0 in MPC plug have access to ESC net, whereby no additional loom is required for longitude control.
As far as been known the Han use same, if not but very similar DBC protocol for most of non-CANFD models. Compatibility of other models still require further community tests.
