This repository contains a number of markdown documents and ESPHome cofigurations. These purpose of this repository is to provide an introduction to IoT using the following components

• Wemos D1 mini micro controller
• ESPHome
• Different services like a MQTT broker running in the Simple IoT Stack

The material in this repository is focused on students with previous programming experience in Python. The material was developed to be used in the lecture Industrielle Produktion und Industrie 4.0 at the FH Aachen.
