Actually I think the more i've studied, the utility_meter is messing with my results. The method i've pasted here is giving me close results to what I see on oru.com. The discrepancy is mainly because of times of the feed value, vs the time it was inserted in the DB

@kunalkhosla have you updated this for newer versions of home assistant? Seems that statistics requires a number of other settings like the state_characteristic (guessing maybe "total?") as well as the max_age and sampling size.

Looking at other issues, it seems that maybe the way the data was sampled wasn't correct? I'm trying to figure out how to fix this now.
