kio-fuse: music files like mp3 or ogg do open with e.g. audacious, but audacious doesnt play them #247

so the list of files here not usable is:

  • video files (neither mvp nor vlc)
  • audio files (tested via audacious , (not audacity!))

What distro is this on and from where have the apps been installed? I've tried audio files yesterday evening on neon and audacious was working just fine.

(also works on manjaro-kde-21.1.5-minimal-211008-linux513.iso out of the box by installing audacious on the live session)

I just tried this on Fedora 34 and it also worked for me. I right-clicked on the file in audacious and did "open containing folder" which opened Dolphin with a path that started with/run/user/1000/kio-fuse-[something]/ which indicated that Audacious got the past from kio-fuse.
