A simple API wrapper to access the https://bitcoinfees.earn.com in Ruby.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'bitcoin-fees'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install bitcoin-fees
Create a reusable client that will make requests to the API:
client = Bitcoin::Fees.configure
Supported endpoints
List: This will show all of the fee spreads along with the mining times for those spreads.
client.list

Recommended: This breaks down the fee suggestings into three categories based on the infomation from the list method. This will provide the minimum suggested fee in order to acheive a transaction being mined within the timeframes returned.

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
