Quick getting started guide for server monitoring.


Arduino Setup

Written for Arduino Duemilanove

1. Edit rgb_led_driver.ino and set the appropriate PWM pins as per your setup.
2. Upload the sketch to your Arduino.


Python Setup

1. Install the requirements (Flask)
2. Update rgbled/led_serial.py with your serial port
3. Put the URL you want to monitor (MONITOR_URL) into the settings.py file
4. Start the Flask app rgbled/colourpicker.py.
    Navigate to http://127.0.0.1:5000 to verify it works
5. Start the monitor services_monitor.py
6. You should get blinking lights on the Arduino!
