A continuation of #177, making code cleaner, enhancing frontend, addressing leftover TODOs, etc
Also adds a new table, to show the most recent submission of any sort
For #21 and for #144.
Also likely for #10 (we didn't figure out what the bug was, but it's probably caused by stuff that has been fixed / is being fixed here).
Kinda for #101 (which would be only sorta resolved; will explain more later)
