MARC Metadata Import

MARC metadata can now be imported from other sources. This can be done manually through the web interface or automatically through the batch ingest process. Learn how to configure this feature.
Ingestion of pre-transcoded derivatives with multiple quality levels
Previous versions of Avalon allowed pre-transcoded derivatives to be ingested using the skip-transcode feature of both web ingest and batch ingest. This was limited to a single quality level for each media object. In version 3.3, it is now possible to batch ingest derivatives with multiple quality levels for a single media object. Instructions are found in the Batch Ingest guide.

Script for recovering disk space taken up by temporary Matterhorn files

The Matterhorn transcoding and workflow engine can sometimes use up considerable disk space with temporary files that do not get deleted. A new script can recover that disk space.
