Hi there!👋 I am a researcher, assistant professor and developer with an interdisciplinary background, specializing in molecular modeling, bioinformatics, and data analysis. Here, you'll find projects that showcase my academic journey and passion for science and technology.
- Undergraduate Degrees: Biomedical Sciences and Information Technology
- Master’s and Ph.D.: Computational Modeling at the Laboratório Nacional de Computação Científica (LNCC/MCTI)
- Focus: Molecular modeling of biological systems and bioinformatics
- Research Interests:
- Bioinformatics applied to genomic and transcriptomic data analysis
- Computer-Aided Drug Design
- Development of computational methodologies in molecular docking, especially protein flexibility methodologies
- Data integration and analysis applied to health and agronomic crops
- Bash: Scripting for task automation and computational analysis.
- C/C++: Scientific applications development.
- Python: Data analysis, machine learning, bioinformatics, and automation.
- Ph.D. Research: Developing an efficient approach to include protein flexibility in protein-ligand docking experiments using the DockThor platform (dockthor.lncc.br).
- Bioinformatics: Working on bioinformatics analysis and developing a new version of the Soybean Expression Atlas.
- Personal Projects: Creating tutorials and workshops to make science more accessible.
When I'm not working on research, you can find me:
- Playing with my pets and enjoying a good cup of coffee 🐈 🐶 ☕
- Exploring the art of photography 📸
- Practicing yoga for balance and mindfulness. 🧘♀️
- Learning more about wildlife and nature conservation 🦁
