"Go to top" link spans entire page

The CSS for the "Go to top" link spans the entire page, meaning a user could click the link without realizing or intending for it to happen.

Offending section:

.gototop {
  display: block;
  margin-top: 20px;
  padding: 10px 0;
  text-align: right;
  clear: both;
}

I think switching from display: block to float: right would be a great solution that keeps the link on the right side, but only activates the click if the user is actively hovering over the text.

Hi and thank you for your suggestion.

For one thing, we personally like the fact that full-width clicking is possible to get to the top specially with this link.
Sure it's not optimal the way it is currently, here we are open to suggestions on how to improve the existing style in terms of better user visibility for this area.

And on the other hand, we are currently considering changing the concept for the function somehow.
We are thinking about removing it the way it is currently and implement it to other areas within relevant pages.
For example:

• to the context menu of the issue list, project list, etc. In order to jump up from each entry (useful in long lists)
• in the issue view, here we are thinking about including it into the comment functions of each entry.
• etc.
