uEdit is a document designer that you can embed in your web application.

Developed in HTML5, uEdit is ideal for the development of document customization applications for both mobile devices and desktop computers. The documents that can be created and edited in uEdit are based on XMPie XLIM document format. As a result, uEdit can be used as an editor for documents hosted on XMPie systems, such as uProduce and uStore.

• Simple to use main canvas, interactive with touch, mouse and keyboard
• Full WYSIWYG with XMPie XLIM Format
  • Support of all XLIM elements (excluding tables)
  • Text composition is identical to XLIM composition engine
  • uEdit can use any font supported by the XLIM engine
  • Can be integrated with uProduce for fetching documents, fonts, images and ADOR preview data
• Full XMPie dynamic document preview
  • ADORs population (Text, Image, Visibility, etc.). Especially - Rich text import
  • Automatic copy fitting and auto-flow for text
  • Automatic image fitting
  • Easy switch between preview and default views, browsing between records
• Undo/Redo, Zoom, Go to page
• Lock elements for editing
• Rich text editor mode, allowing to create XNIP segments for text and text file ADORs

  • Document can be completely manipulated programatically
  • Application view can be adapted using JavaScipt and preset options
