We have quite a full schedule this year, and we want to make sure that we allow plenty of time for discussion (rather than just presentation) since that's of course what the in-person meetings are good for. Therefore, (for "update and discussion" time slots), I'd suggest trying to keep your presentation to half of your allotted time. One way to do this might be to try to push things to backup slides, (e.g. context information that people are likely to be familiar with or extra detail), and maybe note where you are doing this to encourage people to ask about it if they are interested or are missing context. Even for slots that are more presentation-oriented, we typically get interesting questions, so try to leave some time for those.

Also let us know if you expect to need significantly more or less time than we scheduled or if other constraints come up. We can always move things around.
