This repo contains code base, materials and references with regards to training.

The most common laptops are Windows PCs. Where MacOS and Linux systems can use package managers, Windows prefers its own GUI wizards.

Environment Setup and tools

Communication channel

• Discord
  • We will use a channel for instant messaging for this training. Make sure you're online during the training and a green sign is visible to everyone.
• Email
  • Send me an email if its a formal with regards to approvals, leaves or confidential information.

Tools:

• Git
  • We will use this tool for version control, class examples, and submission of your assignments if any.
• git for windows + git bash
  • installs linux-like bash environment (terminal).
  • also installs git, for version control.
• Visual Studio Dev Essentials subscription
  • donot forget to activate your azure portal with this.
  • this may need credit card authorization too.

  • Code Editor.

  • Another IDE.
• Azure Data Studio
  • Client app for Sql Server queries .
• .Net Core SDK
  • Core foundation for .Net development.

gitignore

• To avoid uneccessary files/directories to be pushed like bin and obj folder aren't needed to be pushed in the code base.
