PDB-CAT v2.0.0
Enhancements in the v2.0.0:
- Improved Glycosylation Recognition:
- Enhanced the ability to identify glycosylation sites accurately.
- Distinguishes glycosylation from other types of covalent ligand bonds.
- Classification of Non-Covalent Branched Ligands:
- Non-covalent branched entities (oligosaccharides) are now classified as regular ligands.
- Previous versions categorized these differently (branched column) but are now treated uniformly with other ligands.
- Addition of "Other Entities" Column:
- We introduced a new column named Other Entities in the dataset.
- This column lists entities like cyclic-pseudo-peptide, peptide nucleic acid, polydeoxyribonucleotide, polydeoxyribonucleotide/polyribonucleotide hybrid, polyribonucleotide, and other.
- Inclusion of Polypeptide (D) Ligands:
- Polypeptide (D) entities are now recognized as possible protein and ligand polymer types.
- This update extends to both peptide ligands and protein entities.
