Terrain3D v0.9.3a-beta Release

This update has over 200 commits including:

  • Performance improvements to the Instancer by @Xtarsia
  • Support for the Compatibility Renderer by @Xtarsia
  • Separate storage files per region by @SlashScreen
  • Adjustable region sizes by @Dekker3D
  • Terrain sizes as small as 64 x 64m up to 65.5 x 65.5km by @Xtarsia
  • Slope painting tool setting by @Ryan-000
  • Many performance and quality improvements by @Xtarsia

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the updated keyboard shortcuts. e.g. You must use CTRL for removal.

Breaking Changes & Known Issues

  • Data is now stored in a directory instead of a single storage file. See the upgrade instructions to convert your data.
  • There have been many API changes in this release.
  • Thumbnail generation of the mesh assets in the asset dock is a bit wonky. Click Meshes or hover to regenerate.
