Wirnet™ Station Firmware 3.6 (March 2019)

Changes from 3.3

New Features

• [Network] - DNS resolution in static IP.
• [Network] - Fallback IP configuration.

Restrictions

• [Update] - Firmware update erases all partitions.
• [Update] - For USB update, a produsb.sh script supporting UBIFS must be used. Using an older produsb.sh (supporting only yaffs partitions) can lead to root filesystem partition corruption.
• [Software] - Spectral Scan disabled.
• [Software] - Breaking of backward compatibility. Once installed, firmwares older than v3.1 cannot be installed anymore.
• [Toolchain] - Toolchain only compatible with x86_64 Linux distribution.

• Compatible with SoP3 and SoP4 hardware modules for Lora Station.
• This firmware does not support previous hardware called “LoRa station 20dBm” sold until May 2015. Consult the FAQ : How to know if I have a 20 dBm hardware ?.

• Compatible with updates from firmware v3.x and v2.x.
• Once v3.6 installed, firmware older than v3.1 cannot be installed anymore (breaking for backward compatibility).

Hot Fix

Hotfix(s) only applicable for this firmware version:

• custo_knetd-4.12.tar.gz; md5 0f50382f7d3ca131129e60e5c0e84ac8: This hotfix is used to enable the International Atomic Time, so LoRa class B can be used.
