The red (error) and yellow (alert) icons are likely of most interest to the user. These icons are reflected on the page that is being tested, though depending on the contents of the page it can suddenly make the page unreadable with both the density of the icons and the way in which they alter the formatting of the page! Thankfully, WAVE allows the page styling to be disabled so that each page component can be more easily viewed in isolation.
