This project consists of a simple CLI Bash/ZSH command that can help you streamline the process of updating software on your MacOS computer. Follow along, or share a suggestion.

Program walk-through:

Run the command in your Terminal:


Preview the list of Flags for the command 'softwareupdates'


Running the command 'softwareupdate -l'


Wait for system to confirm available updates:


A result will come up with all the available software updates:


Run the command 'sudo softwareupdate - ia' to begin updates:

Once updates are completed, you might get a confirmation, or just automatically return to a command line:
