Here, users can create an account for Forces Unite. This allows them the ability to create 'looking for' posts, and message other users on the site. If a user is not currently signed in they can easily access this page by clicking 'Sign Up' in our header.

Cards are a unified way of presenting the most important information for a post, group, or player at a glance.

Discovery Page

Discover

Here, users can quickly find other players looking to game, groups, and other users that are known to be on the site. This page can be easily accessed by clicking the 'Discovery' tab on our header. Users are able to select filters to find the right user/group for their needs. Users will see posts, groups, and other users separately (i.e. users can't discover groups and posts at the same time). The Posts, Groups, and Player searches differ by the type of card displayed and the filters available. Clicking on Join will bring the user to the Chat for that group (see Chat page).

Here, users can quickly view the posts that they have created, post which they have joined a chat for, groups they are a part of, and chats with individual users. This page can be easily accessed by clicking the 'Social' page in our header. Users will see posts, groups, and other users separately (i.e. users can't see groups and posts at the same time). Clicking on usernames/group names/post titles will bring the user to the respective page. Clicking on the chat button will open the respective chat. Each image above represents a different view after clicking the left selection menu.

Here, users can see the full details of a post. This page contains the full information of a post, with the list of players that have joined, the post creator (noted under the header and the user with the gold dot next to them), tags, the description, and more. This page can be accessed from either 'Discover' after searching and clicking on the relevant card, or if the post has already been joined, it can be accessed from the 'Social' page. If users are not part of a post yet, they can join, and they can leave the same way if they are a part of the post. There are two views shown above: one where a user is looking at a post but has yet to join, and the other is after they joined, thus the chat button appears.

Group Page

Here, users can view general information about a group of other users who share common interests. Users are able to review the group, request to join, or view the members that are in the group. Groups can also have specific tags so they are easier to search for (clicking the tag will show you other groups with same tag).

User Profile Page

Here, users can view information about other users and themselves. Users can get to their own profile by clicking their avatar on our header and then clicking "my profile" on the drop down menu. Users can view other user pages by clicking on usernames on tiles in our Discovery/Social pages. When viewing another profile, users will be given the options to send a message or a friend request.

Here, users can edit their profiles to display the information they want. To get to the profile settings, users click their avatar on our header and then click "edit profile" on the drop down menu. The user will be able to edit the following: profile picture, profile banner, age display, online status display, favorite games, and their "about me" section. To change their username or "about me" section, the user can click on the text boxes. The profile picture and banner image can be edited by clicking the images themselves. The display age, display online status, and favorite games can be edited by clicking the check boxes that reflect the user's preferences. Users can save their profile settings by clicking the save button.

Account Management

Here, users can edit their account settings. To get to the account management page, users click their avatar on our header and then click "account management" on the drop down menu. The user will be able to edit their password, email, message preferences, and name. To change the password, the user must type their current password first then type their new password twice to confirm it. The user's name and email can be edited by clicking the text box. Message preferences are changed by clicking the checkboxes that reflect the user's preferences (The user can not have "everyone" and "friends only" checked at the same time.) When clicked, the "blocked users" button will display all other accounts that have been blocked by the user. It will also offer the option to unblock any of the blocked accounts. If the user wants to delete their account, they can click the "delete account" button. The user will be asked to confirm if they would like to delete their account. To save any edits made, the user can click the "save all changes" button.

Chat Page

Here, users can send messages to users looking to game, their groups, as well as individual users. Being in a chat is functionally what if means to be in a group, chat, or post. This page can be accessed in a few different ways, with the social page being the primary way. The chats for posts, groups, and users will differ by their displayed cards and maybe a couple of side elements below the card. The Leave button here would remove the user from the post post.

Here, users can learn about the purpose and functionality of our site. This page can be easily accessed by clicking the 'Home' tab.

Create Page

When creating the post, if the user doesn't see the game they desire, they can hit enter and add the game as the game (Post Title). If the user wants to select a different game, they need only type it into the search games box again. In the hashtag area, if the user wants to add a new hashtag, they type it in and hit enter. If they don't like the tag they type, they can click on the checkbox and remove the tag.

Posts are created by users so that other users can find users looking to game.

Create Group 1

Groups are just groups of users. In the hashtag area, if the user wants to add a new hashtag, they type it in and hit enter. If they don't like the tag they type, they can click on the checkbox and remove the tag.

Create Group 2

Groups allow them to continue talking to the same people, much like a guild or legion. Much like the Posts, the user has customizability. They can add games that their groups want to play. If the game doesn't show. They can add it by hitting enter. The widgets on the left float in place, while the user scrolls down the site.
