This is our final release of Campus Connect.

Note to testers such as @josemvidal @MPSharp @JPSharp :
Our app now employs strict email verification of USC students and staff. If you don't feel comfortable doing the entire verification process, which involves releasing our emails from Microsoft quarantine, you can just use the prebuilt test accounts we have created.

This release implements 99% of our features into a fully functioning iOS and Android app.

NOTE TO TESTERS:

Bugs found in the iOS version that aren't present on Android, such as #190, will not be seriously considered. Our app is primarily made for Android and we don't have time to fix iOS specific bugs.

Beta Release (v0.5)

Campus Connect (v0.5) (Beta Release)

This release improves drastically from our Proof Of Concept, adding a slew of new features and improvements to existing ones, including but not limited to:

• Anonymous Posting
• Post Sorting
• Commenting on Posts
• Uploading Images with Posts
• Searching Posts
• A fully featured Calendar, with the ability to navigate to your classes using GPS
• A revamped UI for custom profiles
• Live Events Data being displayed within the app
• Live Sports Data being displayed within the app
• A search feature for all Campus Connect Users
• A fully functional chat, that allows the creation of groups, push notifications, and the ability to chat with anyone within the app.
• Various UI improvements, such as the use of swipeable items throughout the app

As always, this app is available for both iOS and Android. We will release both versions with this beta. If you have access to the TestFlight app, you will be able to download for your iPhone. Android users can get a fully functional binary from this page.

We recommend uninstalling the app before installing the new version, especially if any issues arise.

Features we plan to implement in the future are:

• All 600 USC clubs will be scraped and imported into our app's database, with full search functionality and relevant information
• A revamped UI for Live Events going around USC
• Any bug fixes that may be apparent during this beta release will be fixed before RC1

Proof of Concept

Note from December 4th,2022:

There is a bug with a very low percentage chance of happening in our registration process that can break the app's logic flow. If the registration process is causing crashes, please try clearing all of the app's data and cache, and then using this account:
