Commercial Vehicle Model (CVM) updates in the previous version reduced overall traffic volumes on freeways. This resulted in a new effort to improve highway and transit validation of base year 2022.
Following are some highlights of this release. Detailed release notes are available on the documentation website.
- Fixed transit network bug and recalibrated transit ridership
- Updated commercial vehicle demand and recalibrated resident models to get highway validation to acceptable levels
- Updated the number of EV chargers for base and future years and recalibrated vehicle type choice model
- Moved to a new cleaned up version of 15.1.0 database for reporting and visualization
- Miscellaneous config improvements and file clean up
