Going to create a Milestone for us to try and hit our first playtest for September 1st. The playtest content will only contain up to Hardmode content and Hardmode content will come in future updates. Going to create a Milestone for us to try and hit our first playtest for September 1st. The playtest content will only contain up to Hardmode content and Hardmode content will come in future updates. This will allow us to be more proactive in the things we are adding, being horizontal in the content not just vertical.

Before the first playtest date I'd like to get a few of us together to do a playthrough as well and try to find any faults or issues, as well as find areas for improvement.

For the first playtest I'd like to reach the following stats

  • At least 3 weapon archetypes for each class
  • Alt uses for each of the weapon archetypes
  • At least 50 possible passive points obtainable for each class
  • At least 40 affixes for items across all item types
  • At least 10 Quests
  • A starting town - Where you can get and turn in quests
  • At least 1 unique for each weapon tier. So for swords there should be at least 1 unique per type of sword.
  • At least 1 functional and refined generated map. This could be using passes entirely or predefined structures
