See #55, recommend instead using Docker Desktop for Windows.

Now that the license for Docker Desktop is changing to a paid model, I'm looking for a way to install Docker CE on a Windows 10 machine so that I can use Windows containers. All the options I've found using WSL will only work for Linux containers. I would really like to use this method to install the engine and CLI client onto my Windows 10 machine so I don't have to pay for Docker Desktop when I don't really use any of the additional features anyway.

You might want to take a look at Stevedore project as a way to install modern Docker engine for Windows containers on both Windows Server/Client.
