Fix two typos in documentation

Motivation

What was the reasoning behind this change? Please explain the changes briefly.
I was looking at the docs and noticed two very small typos (one formatting using a `` instead of ` and one grammatical using the wrong tense of a verb). Also happy to just open an issue if that's preferred, but they were easy enough to just fix.

How to test the behavior?

No need to test for these typo fixes as far as I know.
