What would you like to see added to the NWB GUIDE?

@rly, @CodyCBakerPhD, and I recently discussed auto-update capabilities in more detail, coming to the following conclusions:

1. Some awareness of updates is required for the GUIDE as we approach / complete the v1 release
2. Unlike previous implementations, we may not want to be as pushy about updates and instead:
   a. Show that an update is available while allowing the user to manually trigger the update if desired
   b. Trigger a push notification (or similar) event if a critical update is suggested
   c. Include a nice rendering of changelogs for each release

Slack handles this nicely with a button in the top-right corner that enables access to these details while not foregrounding too much (e.g. doesn't trigger a pop-up when I enter and there's an update available).

A few other issues have been filed on this topic (#616, #759), but they focus more on the delivery of human-readable changelogs and persistent documentation access for older versions of the GUIDE.
