Releases: NAVADMC/ADSM
ADSM v3.5.10.0
ADSM Simulation: v3.5
ADSM: v10.21
Funding has ended for the ADSM project. This is expected to be the final release.
NOTE: This release is only compiled for Windows.
v3.5.9.20...v3.5.10.21
The above link details changes/fixes in this release.
Note: updates will be provided through the settings panel, or by running the npu.exe in the installation folder. It is always a good idea to update before starting a large project.
This update includes new vaccination features and as a result, vaccination is started in a new fashion. There are also several new usability features and bug fixes.
- Vaccination Ring rules activate vaccination. The vaccination option under Control Protocol determine production type level details regarding vaccination and are automatically made available (indicated as checked) when a ring rule exists.
- Export/Import can be done for functions and populations.
- Automatic combination of Supplemental Output Files is available on demand.
- Additional SQL queries have been included in the Example Database Queries directory located in the ADSM Workspace that are installed when ADSM is installed.
- Additional R code has been include in the Example R Code directory located in the ADSM Workspace that is installed when ADSM is installed. References for R are freely available on the internet. The code has several simple examples on how to connect to the SQLite database and do basic analysis with R. There is also a report in R Markdown that allows a printout of all ADSM parameters.

The above link details changes/fixes in this release.
Note: updates will be provided through the settings panel, or by running the npu.exe in the
installation folder. It is always a good idea to update before starting a large project.
This update includes new vaccination features and as a result, vaccination is started in a new
fashion. There are also several new usability features and bug fixes.
- Vaccination Triggers now start vaccination. You are able to create multiple triggers, and the
first trigger met will start the vaccination strategy. Note that vaccination parameters are on
several different screens, including the Control Protocol – Vaccination parameters, Vaccination
Global parameters, and the new Vaccination Ring rules. Components have been rearranged to
provide an improved data entry flow. - Vaccination Ring rules determine which production types to vaccinate based on which
production types are detected. - Vaccination Global parameters apply to all production types, There is a new method to set a
primary and secondary priority, along with the capacity, the restart (on a restart trigger) capacity,
and the retrospective vaccination ability.
There are several other changes to make it easier to get to your data. - The Supplemental Output File for disease states is now in a tabular format, as compared to the
matrix format that it was in previously. Note that disease states do not include those farms in a
susceptible state, in order to make the file a manageable size. - There is a new SQL panel on the right side of the screen. This jumps to a SQL Editor and write
SQL queries which can manipulate and extract data from the SQLite database. Note that there is
a directory of Example Database Queries located in the ADSM Workspace that are installed
when ADSM is installed. For a lesson writing SQL queries, see the Basic SQL Overview in the
wiki [link to main wiki page so they have to look at all the topics].
There is a directory of Example R Code located in the ADSM Workspace that is installed when
ADSM is installed. References for R are freely available on the internet. The code is several
simple examples on how to connect to the SQLite database and do basic analysis with R.

ADSM v3.3.7.0
ADSM Simulation: v3.3.0
ADSM: v7.0
This update includes new features centered around making it easier to track what is assigned to each Production Type. The Population toolbar panel (on right of every screen) shows the assignment status for each Production Type for Disease Progression, Disease Spread, Control Protocol and Zone Effects.
The old "Assign Disease Spread" interface has been removed in favor of a much more streamlined grid view that enables you to see all Disease Spread Assignments, as well as what has not been assigned. Disease Spread Assignment are now done in place at the same time you are building Spread parameters, so you never lose track of the target Production Types.
- Separated Creating and Assigning Disease Progression and Zone Effects, to make the controls more straight forward.
- Added Summary Statistics CSV to outputs
- Better layout on many pages, especially better results map layout
- Improved coloring on Output graphs
- Page load performance overhaul, with much faster navigation
- Control Protocol now broken into subheaders which can be enabled / disabled independently
- 11 bug fixes
More details, and all changes for this release are indexed in #673.
Note: The Linux release does not yet have a running simulation binary. It should be considered Beta and a demo of the UI.
