For fast development and seeing your code changes live ( playing around with possible potenital use case scenarios ) I would recommend locally serving the projects folder with the live-server which has enabled live reload feature by default.
It can be installed simply with
npm install -g live-server
and used by running the command in the projects directory terminal, e.g.
live-server --port=8081 .
You can use the editor on GitHub to maintain and preview the content for your website in Markdown files.
Whenever you commit to this repository, GitHub Pages will run Jekyll to rebuild the pages in your site, from the content in your Markdown files.
