R.A.T 5 USB Documentation

Note

The R.A.T 5 USB protocole is mostly the same as the R.A.T 9 one. So, please refer to the appropriate wiki page. This page will try to list all the differences between the two devices;

Device description

The device is very similar to the R.A.T 9, but a bit less configurable hardware-wise, lighter, and more importantly, wired. Thus, it has no battery level reporting capabilities

Needed adjustments

The code is mostly compatible with this mouse, but some adjustments are needed as of now (this may change in the future, as more changes will make it into mainline). @np made it work with his mouse : https://github.com/np/MadCatz He just commented out the call to getBatteryLevel(). This may not be necessary, however, since the exceptions are normally caught. What is necessary, however, is to add your device IDs at the right place in the code. Please also post these to the appropriate issue here on GitHub.
