The Octopus Fabrication Repository contains all the necessary files to build the mechanical and electronic components of the Octopus system. This guide provides resources for assembling the hardware and electronics schematics, including 3D printing files. Whether you're fabricating the device for research, prototyping, or field use, this repository simplifies the process.
Learn more about the octopus documentation here.
All 3D design files are provided as described in the Mechanics Documentation.
You can choose your preferred version of the Octopus system based on your project needs.
- octopus top layer (head) for Arduino nano and octopus top layer (head) for Arduino nicla
- octopus middle layer
- octopus bottom layer (legs)
All hardware-related files for the electronics components are located in the hardware directory. This includes:
- Gerber Files: For PCB and PCBA fabrication.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): A complete list of all the electronic components needed for the PCBs.
- Schematics: Detailed electronic schematics in PDF format.
To learn more:
- Refer to the Electronics Documentation for details on required tools.
- Follow the Assembly Guide for step-by-step instructions on assembling the electronics components.
