FBLA 2016 Mobile Application Development Competition

An app is to be created that allows FBLA members to interact and share their opinions on style, fashion, and attire. Users can snap a picture with their phone. It should allow users to post outfits and interact with anyone else who has posted outfits. They can share what they want to know, for example:

  • Is this outfit stylish?
  • Is this outfit professional?
  • Is this outfit within the FBLA-PBL dress code?
  • What should I change to make this outfit better?

Software needed

  • Your favorite text editor. We recommend Sublime Text or Atom.
  • Android Studio, for app development (JDK 8.0+ is recommended)
  • A LAMP server (preferably Ubuntu), for the backend.
  • mysqlnd and openSSL should be enabled for PHP (5+)
  • mod_rewrite for Apache server, a .htaccess file (see hta template in backend)
