DHIS2 is an open-source monitoring and evaluation system with many potential uses. However, due to its multiple components, it requires some patience and perseverance to learn. To assist you with this, we have developed an Online Learning Notebook that will guide you through implementing and managing a customized DHIS2 instance.

Our course curriculum is adapted from training materials from Level 1, and Level 2 of the DHIS2 Academy workshops (Lagos 2015, Bloemfontein 2015, Zambia 2015, Rwanda 2014, and Trainingland (online) workshops).

We give our thanks to the University of Oslo, and the sponsoring Health Information System Programs, for sharing the reference materials (for DHIS2 versions 2.20 and 2.21), presentations, and assignments, on which much of this curriculum is based. This notebook was developed with participation from Helen Keller International, American Refugee Committee, Nascent Solutions, and Pathfinder International - Mozambique staff teams.
