If your Vmware virtual machine system is super laggy when displaying any video or audio from both cloud and local, but everything else are all fine, then it could be the problem with ram, please check your preference options, make sure the ram reserved for system is not only higher than your virtual machine ram, but also some redundancy. My laptop has 32GB physical ram, virtual machine setting is 23172Mb, preference/option is 26525(swap partial ram), and problem is solved. ps.
