secret

A project to easily generate passwords or passphrases. The goal was to have a better alternative to openssl rand -hex 32 or worse linux equivalents.

How does it work?

A tool to generate secrets. By default it uses numbers, lower case letters and upper case letters (-naA)

Usage: secret [OPTIONS] [LENGTH]

Arguments:
  [LENGTH]
          

Options:
  -n, --numbers
          Wether to use numbers

  -v, --verbose
          Wether to be verbose

  -a, --lower-letters
          Wether to use lower case letters

  -A, --upper-letters
          Wether to use upper case letters

  -s, --symbols
          Wether to use symbols

  -w, --words
          Wether to use words instead of characters

  -l, --language <LANGUAGE>
          [default: ger]

  -h, --help
          Print help (see a summary with '-h')

  -V, --version
          Print version
