This project installs a scheduled task, that checks for outdated Chocolatey packages on windows logon. This way you don't have to run choco outdated
yourself and instead get notified about your outdated packages
It is recommented to use Chocolatey to install this tool:
choco install choco-udpate-notifier
Here is the official chocolatey package.
Simply download the latest Relase and run the installer (.NET Framework 4.6.2 or greater should be installed on your system)
If you don't want to be notified about an outdated package, just pin its current version using the choco pin add
command. As documented here.
