…trol panel and switch on apache and mysql. then click on mysql admin and you will be redirected to phpmyadmin in browser. Copy the contents from AlumniTalks.sql and paste it in the sql tab in phpmyadmin and press go. If you want to change username and password for the database please edit it in the grant statement.Copy the AlumniTalks folder in C:\xampp\htdocs assumin you installed xampp in c drive. edit the pdo.php file and enter uname and password for the database that you created or leave it if you didnt change the password in the grant statement. change the value of site variable in the pdo.php file to http://localhost for testing and save the file. go to your browser and search http://localhost/AlumniTalks/ and you will see the website. create an account and test as much as possible. if the mail function is not working for you then you need to change the default sendmail.ini file. I will shortly create a public url for the website for testing purposes. Have a great day.
