There may be multiple commits simultaneously that are being merged, it's a busy time for that file. Copying your text, pulling from the main branch, then adding your text should ensure no conflicts (for the time being). You can also go to the file here: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules/blob/main/mmv1/third_party/terraform/website/docs/guides/version_5_upgrade.html.markdown and just hit the edit button from the browser
