PostgreSQL basics

Connect to DB:

sudo -u postgres psql airtime_user
postgres-# \c airtime;
You are now connected to database "airtime" as user "airtime_user".

To get the server encoding:

sudo -u postgres psql postgres -c "SHOW SERVER_ENCODING"

To list databases and some of their specs:

sudo -u postgres psql postgres --list
