Inject some context into a DS plugin's input dir space, specifically the parentInstanceID. This affords certain plugins to construct dynamic compute trees anchored to given node in the CUBE space. In some ways this analogous to files in a conventional OS being aware of their own process ID as well as that of their parent.
This is only a first implementation one or two steps beyond a thought experiment.
