The Cicada library is an easy way to get production ready, bi-directional communications for your IoT embedded device. It's focus is in transmission of MQTT packages using the Eclipse Paho MQTT Embedded C/C++ library, but it can be used for general IP communication as well. The library is platform agnostic, designed to be portable - including examples for mbed, FreeRTOS, or bare metal.
